BG Digital Group is looking for interns who want to grow in their marketing experience. We’re looking for someone who can jump into a team for short-term assignments while balancing their college tasks. We manage and market many businesses’ social media, blogs, and email marketing. The candidate selected must love to work with a team and assist in writing content for the following social media platforms, including, but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn. This position reports to the Social Media Manager and Account Executive.

Skills/Requirements

  • Knows how to market and communicate on social media effectively and would like to gain experience marketing a business online.
  • Gets stuff DONE and is creative in their work product.
  • Doesn’t allow “Bright and Shiny” to distract them.
  • Sets a goal, then takes action to conquer it.
  • Multi-tasks so well that plate spinners look on with awe.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Is always learning, growing, and being stretched.
  • Desires to be a part of something larger than themselves.
  • Is a naturally gifted communicator.
  • Desire to learn blog writing skills for SEO effectiveness.
  • Strong ability to write, edit, and craft content for the social media space.
  • Basic iPhone photography and editing skills to support live event coverage. Video creation experience is a plus and/or a necessary skill to learn.
  • Basic knowledge of Canva, Creative Suite, and graphic and video design skills.
  • Pursuing a degree in B.S. in Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.
  • Works hard but also like to have FUN while getting things done!

Pushing the limits of “generally accepted” is part of our average work day. That means we expect our team members to push the envelope with their own skills as well. Must be able to work part-time, 15 hours weekly and have great time management skills

This position is remote, although if you live in our area, we would love to include you in client media days.
