BG Digital Group is looking for a Social Media Manager. We’re looking for someone who can jump into a team quickly while contributing their own magic touch. We manage and market many businesses’ social media, blogs, and email marketing. The candidate selected must love to build relationships with a client’s target audience by managing the following social media platforms, including, but not limited to, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok. This position reports to the Account Executive and President.

  • Knows how to market and communicate on social media effectively and has experience with marketing a business online
  • Gets upset when excuses are given
  • Gets stuff DONE and is creative in their work product
  • Doesn’t allow “Bright and Shiny” to distract them
  • Sets a goal, then takes action to conquer it
  • Multi-tasks so well that plate spinners look on with awe
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented

  • Willing to lift boxes, clean floors, and hold doors if that is what it takes to get something done
  • Believes in having fun
  • Is always learning, growing, and being stretched
  • Desires to be a part of something larger than themselves
  • Can ninja through an inbox with ease
  • Is a naturally gifted communicator
  • 2-3 Years of social media marketing or marketing experience or an equivalent
  • Proven blog writing skills for SEO effectiveness would be great
  • Strong ability to write, edit, and craft content for the social media space
  • Ability to dissect analytics to make intelligent decisions based on real-time data/social paid advertising platforms
  • Basic iPhone photography and editing skills to support live event coverage. Video creation experience is a plus and/or a necessary skill to learn.
  • Basic knowledge of Canva, Creative Suite and graphic and video design skills
  • Awareness of fast-changing social and digital media trends and what competitors are doing to best adapt marketing plans
  • B.S. in Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred
  • Works hard but also like to have FUN while getting things done!
